With the help of its dedicated volunteers and staff EMERGE engages the Muslim, Arab, and South Asian American communities along with other underrepresented communities in the electoral process. The Emerging Voters programming includes voter registration campaigns, absentee ballot drives, organizing early voting events and creating opportunities for candidates and elected officials to interact with community members so they can learn about and discuss issues that are important in their local communities.
Programs also include the organizing of live education sessions in local communities, religious centers, schools and even people's homes to promote civic awareness and responsibility. This programming is supported by constant interaction with the EMERGE's registered voter database through social networking sites, email, and phone/SMS contact.

In June 2010 Emerge conducted a statewide voter registration day in Florida in over 15 community centers throughout the state.
In October 2010 Emerge turned out over 500 voters through 8 early voting events throughout Florida.
In the 2010 Emerge organized candidate forums in Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, which drew over 500 community members and 50 candidates combined.
Emerge contacted over 100,000 voters through live calls from its volunteers and automated calls.
Emerge leadership attended and spoke at events around Florida, ecouraging community members to engage in the political process.
